Leveling-Planters Equipped With Pivoting Center Mast

1. Drive tractor and planter on level ground.

2. Raise lift-assist wheels (A) off the ground if possible.

3. Adjust drive-gauge wheels (A) until planter frame is at shown specifications above ground. (Parallel arms should be parallel with the ground.)

Specification

Adjust drive-gauge wheels as follows:

Loosen nut (C).

Turn adjusting bolt (D) clockwise to raise wheel and lower planter frame.

Turn adjusting bolt counterclockwise to lower wheel and raise planter frame.

Turn nut (C) against casting (E) to prevent bolt (D) from rotating.

4. Level frame front-to-rear with tractor center link (A).

5. Check to be sure planting unit hopper supports (B) are parallel with ground. Readjust center link and/or drive-gauge wheels as needed.
