Row Cleaner Height Adjustment

1. The function of the row cleaner is to sweep aside residue and not move soil.

2. When using pre-plant incorporated herbicide, the row cleaner depth should be adjusted to minimize soil disturbance so the cleaner will not reduce the effectiveness of the incorporated herbicide.

3. Insert 1/2 in. drive socket tool into square hole (A) of arm.

causym CAUTION: DO NOT USE spacer strap on arm as a handle. Fingers may be seriously injured on sharp edge of coulter blade. Use 1/2 in. square socket tool to adjust height.

4. Lift socket tool and remove pin (B). Insert pin (B) in hole at desired height of row cleaner attachment.

5. If row cleaner is NOT needed, dependent on conditions, raise row cleaner up and locate pin (A) in highest position.
