Zeroing the Vacuum Gauge After Installation

With the vacuum pump system shut off and the vacuum gauge in a vertical position, vent the gauge to the atmosphere by disconnecting the vacuum monitor line. Using the zero adjusting screw (A), re-zero the gauge by setting the indicating pointer exactly on the zero mark. Reconnect the monitor line, start up the vacuum pump system, fill the seed disk cells with seed and adjust the vacuum to the recommended setting.
