Preparing for Storage

1. Clean and store machine on a hard surface in a dry place, if possible. If storing on a soft surface, place a wood board under openers to prevent them from penetrating and resting in the ground.

2. Lubricate entire machine. See Lubrication and Maintenance section.

3. Inspect for loose or damaged parts; replace and tighten as required.

4. Repaint scratches as necessary to prevent rust.

5. Coat disks with oil or grease, then lower onto a wood board for storage.

6. Apply grease to exposed areas of hydraulic cylinder rods.

7. (If Wings are Folded) Before disconnecting folding cylinder hydraulic hoses, relieve pressure by either positioning SCV lever in "float" position or turn tractor engine off and cycle lever back and forth three times.

8. Place hose ends and warning light plug in storage positions on hitch.
