Lift-Assist Wheels Maintenance

Once a year, clean and repack bearings (A) with wheel bearing grease and assemble on axle (B). Be careful not to damage seal (C) on axle.

NOTE: It may be necessary to back off nut slightly to insert cotter pin.

Install slotted nut (D) on threaded end of axle. While turning hub (E), adjust slotted nut until a slight drag is felt and insert cotter pin (F) in hole in axle and slot in nut.
