Installing Knockout Assembly

NOTE: The knockout wheel (A) is used to insure that certain seed types are fully released from vacuum hole. Wheel projections engage vacuum holes, forcing all seeds and foreign material to be effected.

NOTE: The seed knockout wheel is required when planting sweet corn seed. Sweet Corn seed is typically irregular in shape, creating a potential for seeds to become lodged in vacuum hole.

1. Open vacuum meter. See ACCESSING THE VACUUM METER in this section.

2. Loosen screw (B) and remove wiper assembly (C).

3. Install knockout assembly (D) with hardware (B) loosened in step 1.

NOTE: When closing dome, verify wheel is running in the track on seed disk.
