To check fertilizer rates:

Tie a 4L (1 gal) container to machine frame next to a fertilizer opener. Remove delivery hose from opener and insert hose into container.

To obtain gal/acre or L/hectare that will actually be delivered:

1. Drive forward at planting speed 91 m (300 ft).

2. Measure fluid (mL or oz) caught in container.
