Fertilizer System

1. Remove chain from piston pump.

2. Remove plug (A) from T-fitting under pump.

3. Open shut-off valve and rinse tanks with water and flush lines from tanks to pump.

4. Close shut-off valves.

5. Switch plug in T-fitting below pump with pipe nipple and hose.

6. Place hose in a 19L (5 gal) container of warm water. Open all nozzle check valves (B) and turn pump by hand to flush salts from pump, manifold screens and nozzles.

7. Fill 19L (5 gal) container with mixture of John Deere SPRAY MASTER ™ Winterizer Fluid at the correct ratio to protect system down to lowest expected temperature. Turn pump by hand to circulate winterizer fluid into pump and hoses. Plug off hoses and replace plug (A).

8. Remove and clean manifold orifice disks and strainers with warm water.
