Low-Rate Sorghum Feed-Cup¹

IMPORTANT: Store feed-cup metering assemblies in a clean, dry place while they are not in use.

NOTE: Three washer shims must be used with low-rate feed-cup. Do not operate without all three shims.

For small seed or if population is high, use three washer shims (C) between feed-cup (B) and housing (A) only.

For medium size seed, use two washer shims (C) between feed-cup (B) and housing (A) and one washer shim (C) between feed-cup and seed guide.

For larger seed, use one washer shim (C) between feed-cup (B) and housing (A) and two washer shims (C) between feed-cup and seed guide.

Assemble feed-cup housing with low-rate sorghum feed cup and correct number of washer shims. Install seed guide on feed-cup adapter so it seats properly on mounting studs (A). Align notch (B) in seed guide with projection on adapter.

NOTE: Aligning notch must be positioned correctly so feed-cup housing seats properly.

Attach feed-cup and housing to adapter with wing nuts (A).

Wipe off feed-cup bushings periodically to help reduce wear.
