Meter Setup for Sugar Beets

NOTE: If sweet corn double eliminator has been installed, loosen set screw in cam nut and rotate cam nut to move tip of eliminator AWAY from center of meter housing as far as possible.

Move vacuum meter baffle tab (A) to lower position (B).

Use (regular) long vacuum meter brush.

TALC APPLICATION

IMPORTANT: Some insecticide-treated seed is coated with commercially applied talc. It is important that the recommended amount of talc be added in addition to talc already on the seed.

NOTE: Apply talc lubricant to top of seed after filling hopper. If hopper is not filled, adjust talc amount accordingly.
