Connecting Hydraulic Hoses (30-60 Series Row-Crop Tractors)
CAUTION:
Hydraulic hoses can fail due to physical damage, kinks, age and exposure. Check hoses regularly. Replace damaged hoses.
NOTE:
It is not necessary to turn off tractor if attaching machine to John Deere tractor with ISO couplers.
NOTE:
If there are not enough SCV couplers, a power beyond kit is available. See your John Deere dealer.
LIFT ASSIST HOSES: If machine is equipped with lift assist hoses, connect lift assist hoses (A) to SCV I. Set flow control valve (C) to full open "RABBIT" position.
INDEPENDENT MARKERS: If machine is equipped with independent markers, connect marker hoses (B) to SCV II. Set flow control valve (C) to desired rate to keep control lever in detent position.
