Refer to above chart to convert beans per foot into pounds per acre so a sprocket combination can be determined from seed charts.
EXAMPLE:
Desired seed spacing is approximately 10 beans/ft on 19 in. rows with an approximate soybean seed size of 4200 seeds/lb.
Referring to above chart, to achieve approximately 10 beans/ft on 19 in. rows with approximately 4200 seeds/lb, a sprocket combination for 66 lb/acre will be needed.

Refer to SMALL SOYBEAN WITH SOYBEAN FEED-CUP chart. A 19 in. row spacing will require the high range input sprocket with a 20-tooth driver and 28-tooth driven sprocket to produce approximately 66 lb/acre.
Rates in the chart are based on a uniform seed size sample of approximately 4200 seeds/lb and should only be used as a starting point for determining actual planting rate. Actual rate must be checked in the field at desired planting speed. See Checking Seed Population section.
