IMPORTANT: Damage to blower motor will occur if hoses are connected incorrectly. Check hydraulic connections before operating vacuum motor. See CHECKING HYDRAULIC CONNECTIONS in Preparing the Vacuum Meter section.

IMPORTANT: If vacuum cannot be fine tuned adequately with the 200 Series tractor SCV, the machine flow control valve can be used to control vacuum level (tractor flow control valve must be set to maximum flow).

NOTE: Motor adaptor kit (A) can be installed to eliminate surging of motor that sometimes occurs with load sensing tractor hydraulics when one tractor valve is used to control one vacuum motor. See your John Deere dealer.

NOTE: For non John Deere tractors, see dealer for vacuum motor hook-up.

1. Connect pressure hose (D) with planter flow control valve (B) into right-hand SCV coupler.

NOTE: Return hose must be equipped with a return coupler with cap.

2. Connect return hose (C) with special tip into left-hand SCV coupler or motor return port.

IMPORTANT: To prevent damage to motor, do not return SCV lever to neutral to shut off vacuum.

Push SCV lever forward into detent position for running and push forward into "float" to shut off vacuum.

The planter flow control valve (B) must be set to full open position and kept in circuit as a high flow limiter. The tractor valve will be used to control vacuum level.
