The disk closing attachment is recommended for very shallow planting conditions and when soil types vary across a field.

Angle Adjustment
NOTE:
The following adjustment should be made in the field.
Soil is squeezed from each side of trench around seed to close trench. There are five possible angle settings for varying soil conditions. Use minimum angle required to close seed trench.
Loosen nut and cap screw (A). Pivot disk to desired setting then tighten nut and cap screw.

Depth Adjustment
NOTE:
The following adjustment should be made in the field.
Depth of the closing disks should be approximately 10 mm to 15 mm (3/8 in. to 5/8 in.) deeper than planting depth. There are five settings available.
Remove nut and cap screw (A). Raise or lower adjusting bracket (B) as necessary. Align holes and install nut and cap screw.

Spring Pressure Adjustment
NOTE:
The following adjustment should be made in the field.
Set press wheel down force at the minimum pressure necessary to close disk tracks and establish a soil surface profile for proper drainage.
Turn nut on eyebolt (A) to adjust spring pressure.
