Adjusting Spout

Granular fertilizer spout may require adjustment to ensure the fertilizer is delivered to the center of the soil furrow. To adjust, proceed as follows:

1. Loosen cap screws (A).

2. Move lower end of spout inward or outward as required.

3. Position bottom of spout vertically until it is approximately 15 mm (5/8 in.) above the soil surface. In wet conditions it may be necessary to raise spout until it is approximately 25 mm (1 in.) above soil surface to avoid plugging.

4. Tighten nuts after completing adjustment.
