Meter Setup for Corn Using Large Sweet Corn Disk
Move vacuum meter baffle tab (A) to upper position (B).
IMPORTANT:
Use field checks to verify and fine tune the double eliminator setting.
Double eliminator should be positioned to cover from one quarter to one half of vacuum hole. The tooth to the far right of double eliminator (the one under adjusting screw) is used. Set double eliminator to one quarter position for seeds between 1980 seeds/kg (900 seeds/lb) and 4400 seeds/kg (2000 seeds/lb). Set double eliminator to one half position for seeds between 4400 seeds/kg (2000 seeds/lb) and 7040 seeds/kg (3200 seeds/lb).
Use regular (long) vacuum meter brush.
