Do not use an open center tractor hydraulic system to operate vacuum pump. Permanent damage to tractor pump may result.

The vacuum meter pump hydraulic system is designed to be operated with closed center tractor hydraulic

systems (tractors with load sensing or pressure on demand hydraulics are classified as closed center systems). Open center tractor hydraulics are NOT compatible with system.
Minimum tractor standby pressure required to operate the vacuum meter pump hydraulic system is approximately 15,513 kPa (155 bar) (2250 psi) depending on frame configuration, planting speed and number of rows on machine.
