Preparing for Transport

Make certain hitch pin is secured with drilled pin (A).

Wrap chain around drawbar chain support (B) and fasten as shown.

If equipped with single-disk fertilizer openers, check to be sure there is adequate ground clearance between the blade and the ground.

NOTE: Do not tighten spring bolt so dimension (A) is less than specifications. Opener may not achieve full depth if dimension (A) is less than specifications.

Specification

If necessary, loosen jam nut (C) and turn spring adjusting bolt (B) clockwise to raise opener until adequate ground clearance is achieved. Retighten jam nut.
