Raising and Lowering Automatic Markers
IMPORTANT:
DO NOT put SCV lever into FLOAT when raising and lowering. The correct procedure for raising and lowering is to POWER completely UP or DOWN.
The marker hydraulics are plumbed together with the machine lift system. Markers automatically raise and lower with machine frame.
Markers will operate alternately each time lever is cycled fully to both raise and lower machine and marker.
A marker alternating valve automatically shifts oil flow (so opposite marker can be lowered) each time lever is moved from marker-lower to marker-raise position (even when lever is moved only briefly). In this way the following additional marker function is possible:
-
One marker can be raised partially (to clear an obstacle) then lowered again by cycling the SCV lever twice quickly (without actually moving the markers) until the marker function returns to the same marker. This will require raising the machine.
-
Both markers can be lowered (as when starting in the middle of field) by lowering machine and one marker, then quickly cycling the lever (without raising that marker) so the second marker will lower.
