Replacing Marker Breakaway Bolt

NOTE: Extra shear bolts are located on the inside of each marker door.

The marker breakaway bolt (A) provides breakaway protection when the marker hits an obstacle.

To replace the breakaway bolt, proceed as follows:

A-Breakaway Bolt

1. Replace broken breakaway bolt with M8 x 100 bolt (A). Position new bolt in pivot as shown.

2. Remove wrench (C) from storage position and remove nut, securing large bolt (A) to frame.

3. Install large bolt on breakaway bolt.

NOTE: Be certain flat sides (B) of bolt are in the slot in pivot.

4. Secure large bolt with M10 nuts.

5. Return marker arm to operating position and insert breakaway bolt through hole in machine frame.

6. Secure breakaway bolt with M24 nut.

Secure wrench in storage position with spring locking pin.
