Liquid Fertilizer System with Piston Pump

1. Close all shutoff valves.

2. Disconnect drive chain from pump.

3. Disconnect pump suction hose at strainer.

4. Place hose in a 19L (5 gal) container of warm water. Open nozzle check valve and turn pump by hand to flush salts from pump, manifold screens and nozzles.

5. Replace water with appropriate mixture of SPRAY MASTER ™ Winterizer Fluid at the correct ratio to protect the system down to the lowest expected temperature. Turn pump by hand and circulate winterizer into pump, manifold screens and nozzles. Plug off hoses and connect to strainer.

6. Remove and clean manifold orifice disk strainers with warm water.

7. If machine is equipped with a mechanical pressure gauge, flush out line to pressure gauge.
