NOTE: With contact drive systems, you should not disconnect the chain as you can more easily turn the pump by hand using the contact drive tire.

2. Disconnect drive chain from pump.

3. Disconnect pump suction hose at strainer.

NOTE: When equipped with distribution manifold (or flow divider), flush through the individual fertilizer opener delivery hoses, because there is no single hose coming out of the pump.

4. Place hose in a 20L (5 gal.) container of warm water. Turn pump by hand to flush salts from pump, and distribution hoses.

5. Replace water with appropriate mixture of SPRAY MASTER ™ Winterizer Fluid at the correct ratio to protect the system down to the lowest expected temperature. Turn pump by hand and circulate winterizer into pump, and distribution hoses. Connect suction hose to strainer.

6. Remove and clean injection nozzles with warm water.

7. If machine is equipped with a mechanical pressure gauge, flush out line to pressure gauge.
