Adjusting Hitch Crossbar-32R15 And 24R15 Only
NOTE:
When attaching to a tracked tractor with the hitch in the offset position, constant steering correction will be required.
Hitch crossbar must be positioned in hole (A) for 38 cm (15 in.) row spacing.
1.
In the transport position, lower machine from high lift until wing tires are firmly on ground.
2.
Chock main frame wheels so machine does not roll.
3.
Lower hitch using outside three point control until weight from hitch is supported by machine.
4.
Remove cotter pin (B), castle nut (C), washer and cap screw (D).
5.
Tie a ratchet strap from tractor three point hitch to machine jack stand to hold up hitch crossbar when removed.
6.
Lower three point hitch until clear of machine.
7.
Pull tractor ahead with hard right brake about 12 inches or as far as hoses will allow while still being connected. Then back up with hard left brake until aligned with hole.
8.
Raise three point hitch.
NOTE:
Replace cotter pin (B) if damaged.
9.
Install cap screw (D) washer, castle nut (C) and cotter pin (B).
