Operating CCS System-Heavily Treated Seed or Very Large Seed Corn
IMPORTANT:
Talc or graphite must be mixed thoroughly during filling of tanks.
IMPORTANT:
Remove any buildup of seed treatment or talc with stiff bristled 1372 mm (4.5 ft) handle 203 mm (8 in.) wide broom.
VACUUM METERS: When operating CCS system with heavily treated seed or very large seed corn, DOUBLE the rate of talc. See SEED TREATMENT RECOMMENDATIONS in Operating Vacuum Meter section.
PLATELESS METERS: When operating CCS system with heavily treated seed or very large seed corn, DOUBLE the rate of graphite. See USING POWDERED GRAPHITE in Operating Plateless Meter section.
