CAUTION:
Agricultural chemicals can be dangerous. Improper selection or use can injure persons, animals, plants, soil or other property. BE SAFE. Select the right chemical for the job. Handle and apply it with care. Follow instructions of the chemical manufacturer. Check all valves, fittings, hose clamps, plugs and caps for tightness and soundness before admitting liquid fertilizer to the system. Check again at regular intervals and replace pipe and hoses when worn, cracked or leaking.
When using liquid fertilizer, excessive pressure can cause tank rupture. Shut OFF nurse tank pump as soon as tank is FULL.
To fill liquid fertilizer tank, proceed as follows:
NOTE:
If shut-off valve lever is hard to operate, proceed as follows:
Internal O-rings located in the valve prevent valve leakage. The "preload" on these O-rings can be adjusted to allow both leak-free operation and easy operation of valve lever. Turn large nut until lever moves smoothly without overtightening, which can cause damage to the O-rings.
Close pump shut-off valve (A).
Close QUIK-FILL
valve (B) and remove dust cover from quick-attaching coupler.
