Adjusting Tire Scraper

IMPORTANT: Load and tire air pressure will affect distance between tire and scraper. Tire diameter will change as tire warms up during transport. Do not set scraper closer than the specification.

IMPORTANT: To prevent damage to row unit coulter or contact drive tire, tire scraper must be re-adjusted anytime frame height is changed.

1. Adjust tire to correct air pressure.

2. Loosen cap screws and nuts (A).

IMPORTANT: When adjusting scraper, ensure that it does not hit coulter on row unit behind tire.

3. Adjust clearance between tire scraper (B) and tire to specification. Edge of tire scraper (C) should be parallel to edge of wheel arm (D), or damage can occur to contact tire or coulter on row unit behind scraper (if equipped).
