Attaching and Detaching Monitor

Avoid possible injury or death from machine runaway. Do not start engine by shorting across starter terminals. Machine can start in gear when normal circuitry is bypassed.

Never start engine while standing on ground. Start engine only from operators seat, with transmission in neutral or park.

Do not connect auxiliary equipment to starter terminals. Doing so can cause tractor to start in gear and move. Connect directly to tractor battery or other ways as instructed.

A - Monitor Connector

B - Monitor Harness

Remove dust covers. Clean both mating connectors with electrical cleaner if needed.

Line up grooves and tabs between mating connectors. Carefully push planter monitor harness connector (B) onto monitor connector (A) and turn collar clockwise.

To remove monitor harness (B), turn collar counterclockwise and pull straight back.

Install dust covers.
