Regular, Regular Straight, Small Straight and Large Seed Tubes (MaxEmerge™ Plus Row Units)

If seed tubes must be removed or replaced, proceed as follows:

To remove:

  1. Disconnect planter harness from seed tube sensor.

    Remove shank cover (A).

    A - Disengage Tabs

    B - Latching Holes

    Depress front of seed tube to disengage tabs (A) from latching holes (B).


  4. Remove seed tube.

To install:

  1. IMPORTANT: If seed tube is not properly located on aligning pin, inaccurate seed metering and/or damage to the seed tube may occur.

    B - Engage Tabs

    Position seed tube in shank, making certain it is engaged on pin (A).


  2. Depress front of seed tube and engage tabs (B) in latching holes.

    B - Cover

    Route harness lead (A) out of shank as shown.


  4. Replace shank cover (B).

  5. NOTE: make certain all slack is out of sensor lead before securing with ties.

    Connect seed tube sensor harness to planter harness.
