Sugar Beet Seed Tube (Plate Meter)

If seed tubes must be removed, proceed as follows:

1. Disconnect drive chain.

2. Remove plate-meter gear nest.

3. Remove seed tube assembly.

IMPORTANT: The top of the seed tube should make light contact with the false plate. Too much pressure can cause false plate wear and seed tube damage.

NOTE: When installing seed tubes, be certain hook on seed tube is on the aligning pin in the shank.
