Install Radar Signal Adapter Harness—60 and 70 Series Tractors

NOTE: This harness is used when existing tractor radar will supply signal to monitor and to tractor instrumentation. If tractor is not equipped with radar and a planter radar will be installed, go to “Installation of Radar Bracket for 60 or 70 Series Four Wheel Drive Tractors”.

1. Remove bell-shaped cover from back of radar sensor.

   A - Radar Sensor Harness

   B - Short Lead

   C - Short Lead

   D - Sensor Harness

   E - COMPUTER TRAK™ Radar Lead

   Disconnect radar sensor harness (A) from sensor and connect one short lead (B) from adapter harness to radar sensor. Connect other short lead (C) to sensor harness (A). Make sure adapter harness connectors are fully seated against sensor connectors.

   Reinstall cover to sensor.

3. Route adapter harness along hydraulic oil lines and secure with tie straps (D) as necessary. Keep away from moving parts and linkages.

   NOTE: Be sure to leave some slack in adapter harness at hinge area to prevent damage to harness when articulating tractor.

4. Connect adapter harness to COMPUTER TRAK™ radar lead (E). Secure excess harness beneath body, as necessary, with tie straps.
