IMPORTANT:
Vacuum RETURN hose, with special tip, MUST be connected to tractor EXTEND port. This allows the motor to be shut off by placing SCV lever directly into "float" position, avoiding damaging pressure spikes. This also applies to variable rate drive when connected to an SCV.

This table shows connecting lift assist wheels to an SCV. Lift assist wheels may also be connected to tractor hitch, allowing the SCV to be connected to other functions. See procedures in this group for more information about hitch controlled lift assist
Vacuum motor may be controlled using tractor SCV, or may be controlled by planter flow control valve. If using tractor SCV, planter flow control valve should be fully open.
