Folding Machine-8-Row Narrow, 8-Row Wide, 12-Row Narrow

IMPORTANT: Machines equipped with liquid fertilizer, DO NOT lower machine with wings folded. Unfold machine before lowering machine to ground. Failure to do so could result in damage to inside planting units on wing section.

NOTE: If valve handle is difficult to operate, use float position on tractor hydraulic control to lower planter.

1. Close marker valve (C), if equipped.

2. Lower planter on level firm terrain.

IMPORTANT: Flex machines only, install turnbuckle for folded transport only. Structural damage may occur if turnbuckle is installed during normal operation.

3. (Flex Model Only) Install turnbuckle (A).

4. Move planter valve (B), if equipped, to transport position (this locks the wing wheels in retracted position).

5. Push in selector valve (D), if equipped, to select wing fold.

7. Fully raise planter.

8. Fold wings until latched at (B).
