Setting Selective Control Valve for (30-60 Series Row Crop Tractors)NOTE: For non John Deere tractors, see dealer for hook-up. To operate the vacuum system, vacuum pressure hose must be equipped with an in-line flow control valve to adjust vacuum level and tractor SCV lever must have a lever stop installed. See your John Deere dealer. Position tractor flow control valve (A) to fast (RABBIT) setting on SCV's used for vacuum, and variable rate drive. Vacuum level is controlled with in-line flow control valve. SEEDSTAR ™ system will control variable rate drive. Adjust vacuum system flow control valve (A) to middle position. Final adjustments may be needed once field operation has been noted. |
