Setting Electro/Hydraulic Selective Control Valves-7020 and 8000 Series Tractors
NOTE:
If tractor is not equipped with enough SCV outlets, a Power Beyond Kit is available to power hydraulic motors.
Press appropriate touch control switch (A) I through V to program each SCV.
FRAME FUNCTIONS and AUTOMATIC MARKERS: Press touch control switch I to enter programming mode. Adjust flow rate with flow control knob (B). Set detent time to 10 seconds with time detent knob (C). Push tractor SCV lever into detent and release to operate frame functions. Reduce flow rate and time when folding and unfolding.
INDEPENDENT MARKERS (if equipped): Press touch control switch II to enter programming mode. Set flow rate to 5 with control knob (B) and detent time to 10 seconds with control knob (C). Adjust in the field as required.
VARIABLE RATE DRIVE: (if equipped) Press appropriate touch control switch. Set flow rate to 10 with control knob (B). Set detent time to CONSTANT with control knob (C). Push tractor SCV lever into detent and release to operate variable rate motor.
VACUUM MOTOR OPTIONS:
NOTE:
If vacuum is attached to power beyond no cab controls are used. Vacuum level is then controlled by the in-line flow control valve. Shut off tractor engine to turn off vacuum motor.
1. USING IN-LINE FLOW CONTROL VALVE AND TRACTOR SCV: Press appropriate touch control switch to adjust hydraulic vacuum motor function. Set knob (B) to 10 and use in-line flow control valve to adjust vacuum once seeds are on disks. Use knob (C) to set detent time to CONSTANT. Push tractor SCV lever into detent and release to operate vacuum motor. Place SCV in FLOAT to turn off vacuum motor
