Installing Press Wheel Caps
Weld-on press wheel caps are available for both 76 mm (3 in.) and 101 mm (4 in.) steel press wheels. Press wheel caps are a two-piece band which wraps around the entire circumference of the wheel. It has a rounded cross-section, which fits over the running surface of the wheel to reduce rock damage and extend wear life. Press wheel caps can be installed without disassembling press wheel gangs.
Order one press wheel cap for each press wheel.
