Attaching Press Wheel Caps To Wheel

causym CAUTION: Hazardous fumes can be generated when paint is heated, sanded or ground which can result in serious injury or death to you or others. Wear protective clothing, eyewear, and respirator when preparing surface.

1. Clean wheel and remove paint where welding will occur.

2. Fit press wheel cap halves around wheel, positioning gap where paint has been removed.

3. Fit installation band halves over press wheel caps, aligning gaps in the bands with gaps in press wheel caps.

4. Insert cap screws in installation bands. Tighten hardware to pull press wheel cap halves as tight as possible to each end and to wheel.

5. Weld gaps in press wheel cap full.

6. Remove installation band.
