Install 13 mm (1/2 in.) Depth Adjustment Clips (Spring-Reset Standards Only)

In compacted soil areas, such as wheel tracks, adjustment clips (A) can be used to lower seeding depth of openers for more uniform seeding.

IMPORTANT: U-bolt must be tightened evenly so shank is "square" on frame.

NOTE: Each depth adjustment clip will increase opener depth 6 mm (1/4 in.). Install two depth adjustment clips to achieve 13 mm (1/2 in.) depth adjustment.

1. Loosen U-bolt (B). Slide clip(s) (A) into position.

2. Replace top nut and washer with lock nut (A65113) and washer (J18218) provided. Snug the top nut.

3. Replace bottom nut and washer with lock nut (A65113) and washer (J18218) provided. Snug the bottom nut.

4. Tighten the bottom nut according to specifications.
