Setting Seeding Depth

IMPORTANT: To avoid damage to depth control linkage, be sure depth adjustment plates are lowered between handle and stop, with no gaps between plates and depth adjustment handle. Push handle forward against stop after adjusting.

Be sure plates do not move out of position during transport. Always check that plates are correctly positioned before beginning seeding to prevent damage to machine.

With frame raised, pull out handle (A), release spring pressure on depth adjustment plates by rotating over center handle (B) to vertical position, flip depth adjustment plates (C) up (out of stop) to increase seeding depth or down (between handle and stop) to decrease seeding depth. Tighten spring pressure on depth adjustment plates by rotating over center handle (B) to horizontal position. Push depth adjustment handle (A) forward against stop after adjusting. Each plate changes depth 6.35 mm (0.25 in.).

To retain center frame adjustment in fixed position, place chain (D) in slot (E).
