Folding Wings

IMPORTANT: Always check hydraulic oil with seeding tool in field transport position. Do not overfill tractor reservoir to prevent overflow when wings are folded and press wheels are retracted.

1. Stop machine on a flat, level surface, raise machine until bottom of openers are two inches above ground using depth control.

IMPORTANT: Be sure press wheels are on ground during folding to prevent machine damage.

NOTE: If machine is equipped with markers, be sure "fold" is selected on selector valve at front of machine.

2. 3-Section: Pull SCV II to the rear. Transport wheels will lower to ground and wings will lift.

5-Section: Pull SCV II to the rear. Transport wheels will lower to ground and outer wings will simultaneously lift and fold over onto stops. Continuing to hold SCV II to rear, inner wings will simultaneously start raising off the ground.

3. Move SCV II to neutral position when wings contact stops.

4. Completely retract press wheels using depth control cylinders to reduce overall width and ensure depth control plates remain in correct position.

5. Install transport wheel locks on cylinder rods and close service lockup valve on hitch.
