Adjust Wing Fold/Transport Lift Sequence Valve

CAUTION: DO NOT attempt to remove valve cartridge for service. If service is required, have entire sequence valve replaced by your John Deere dealer.

IMPORTANT: To avoid machine damage, the inside wings should unfold completely before the outer wings start unfolding. If the outer wings start unfolding before inner wings are completely unfolded, check and/or adjust wing-fold sequence as described.

1. Completely unfold machine, then fold outer wings only.

3. Loosen jam nut (B) and turn adjustment screw in until outer wings do not lift off their stops when SCV No. II is operated.

4. When outer wings will not unfold, turn adjustment screw out only until outer wings start unfolding.

5. Tighten jam nut and install cap. Operate SCV No. II through an entire fold/unfold cycle to check for proper sequence adjustment.
