Checking C-Shank Assembly Tightness
IMPORTANT:
U-bolts must be tightened EVENLY, so the standard is "square" on the frame.
Loose hardware and/or broken brackets can result if all contact points (B), at each corner, are not touching the frame when tightened.

Tighten U-bolt (A) nuts as follows:

Partially tighten the top U-bolt nut.
IMPORTANT:
Check for correct tightness after 10 hours of use. Tighten to specification, if necessary.
NOTE:
For deeper sweep penetration in wheel tracks, install depth adjustment clips. See Attach Depth Adjustment Clips in Operating the Machine section.
3.
Tighten bottom U-bolt to specification.
