Follow Safe Transport Procedures

CAUTION: Keep away from overhead power lines to avoid serious injury or death to yourself or someone else. Know the transport height of your machine.

CAUTION: To help prevent severe injury or death to you or someone else:

Keep all persons away from machine when raising and lowering wings.

Always locate machine on level ground when raising and lowering wings.

Never raise or lower wings when moving.

Follow recommended transport procedures:

Always fold wings fully.

Transport with lift cylinders fully retracted (to retract press wheels and reduce width) and hydraulic lock-up valve closed.

Transport with transport wheel cylinders fully extended and transport wheel locks installed.

Travel at a reasonable and safe speed. Do not exceed weight and speed guidelines shown in Tow Loads Safely found in the Safety section. Reduce speed considerably when traveling over rough ground.

Stop slowly.

NEVER transport machine with air seeder fan running.

To improve stability when traveling through the field, wings should be unfolded from transport position as soon as possible after leaving the roadway.

If necessary, add ballast as described in your tractor operator's manual.
