Preparing for Transport
CAUTION:
Keep away from overhead power lines. Serious injury or death may result. Proceed cautiously under overhead power lines and around utility poles. Know the transport height of your machine.
Electrocution can occur without direct contact with overhead electrical lines.
Always fold wings fully. If wing fold cylinders are removed, chain wings together to prevent accidental lowering.
Fully extend depth control cylinders and close hydraulic lock-up valve before transporting.
Close hydraulic lock-up valve.
Do not transport with underweight tractor. Never tow this implement with a motor vehicle.
Latch the tractor brakes together.
Transport
Always travel at a reasonable and safe speed. Never exceed 32 kph (20 mph).

Operator's Manual to ensure that machine can be safely transported with your tractor. Do not exceed weight and speed guidelines.
Always use flashing warning lights, day and night, when transporting on public roadway. Keep reflective material and SMV emblem clean and visible.
Prevent collisions between motorist and slow moving equipment on public roads. Frequently check for traffic from the rear, especially in turns, and use the turn signals.
Stop slowly.
To improve stability when traveling through the field, wings should be unfolded from transport position as soon as possible after leaving the roadway.
Shift the tractor into a lower gear when transporting down steep slopes or hills.
Upward force on hitch may cause instability when transporting. Add ballast to tractor as required.
Commodity Cart Issues
Never transport with seed tank(s) more than half full.
Never transport machine with air seeder fan running.
Never transport with cart meter drive clutches engaged.
