Attach 6 mm (1/4 In.) Depth Adjustment Clips (Spring-Reset Standards Only)

In compacted soil areas, such as wheel tracks, 6 mm (1/4 in.) adjustment clip (A) can be used to lower seeding depth of openers for more uniform seeding.

IMPORTANT: U-bolt must be tightened evenly so clip is "square" on frame and "V" (C) touches frame tube.

Installation of clip causes the standard to lean slightly rearward as shown in drawing.

NOTE: Depth adjustment clips change the standard mounting angles slightly to increase opener depth. Unequal tightening of U-bolt can defeat this purpose.

Use 6 mm (1/4 in). flat washer (D) to re-level sweep, if necessary. Assemble washer to top sweep bolt, between "C" shank and sweep.

To install clip (A), loosen U-bolt (B). Slide clip into position and tighten nuts in the following sequence:
