Preparing Hydraulic System-Tractors With Mechanical SCV Controls

IMPORTANT: Always check hydraulic oil with seeding tool in field transport position. Do not overfill tractor reservoir or it will overflow when wings are folded and press wheels are retracted.

1. Check hydraulic oil level. Fill, if necessary.

NOTE: Tractor hydraulic oil flow must be at least 45 L/min (12 gpm) for proper operation of the machine.

2. Position flow control valve (A) on SCV I and II to fast (rabbit).

3. Position flow control valve (A) on SCV III to slow (turtle). Increase flow until 18 in. pressure is achieved.
