Checking Wheel Bolts and Bearings

Tighten all wheel bolts (A) and wheel bearings during the first week of operation and periodically after that.

Tighten wheel bolts to specification.

Specification

Wheel Bolts -Torque 176 N·m (130 lb-ft)

To adjust wheel bearing proceed as follows:

1. Remove center hub cap and cotter pin.

2. Tighten nut until there is a slight drag on the bearings, while turning wheel.

3. Back nut off until cotter pin can be installed in hole.

4. Replace hub cap.
