Setting Metering Gates
Metering gates have four settings:

Closed: Used for runs that are closed.

1/3 open: Used for metering small seeds, such as sorghum.

2/3 open: Used for metering medium seeds, such as wheat.

Full open: Used for metering large seeds, such as soy beans. Full open can also be used for high rates of wheat.
Ensure that metering gates are properly set for product to be used. See rate charts in Operating Machine-Metering section in this manual.
