Tank Level Sensor
Tank level sensors are optical sensors. The sensor has three wires going to it; power, ground and signal. When the sensor has seed covering it, the output on the signal line will be high, approximately the same as the voltage powering the sensor. When the sensor is not blocked (tank empty), the output on the signal line is low approximately 0.5 V or less, which causes empty tank light to come on.
Sensor is factory installed at lowest setting. For earlier warning, sensor can be moved higher up on plate.
