Servicing Drive Chains
If roller chains have become rusty or stiff during idle period, lubricate prior to continued usage and operate or "work" chains sufficiently to ensure all chain joints move freely before normal machine operation is resumed.
If any sprocket or chain is damaged, replace chain and all sprockets in line with that chain or sprocket.
