Adjusting Drillshaft Couplers and Flex Shafts

It may be necessary to align couplers (A). The FLAT surfaces should be touching and in alignment. To align the couplers, proceed as follows:

1. Loosen all clamps (B) on middle drillshaft (C) section and slide drillshaft until couplers are in alignment.

2. Tighten all clamps (B).

3. Inspect flex shaft (D) to see if edge of outer drillshaft (E) section is visible half way across hole (F).

4. Loosen clamps (G) on outer drillshaft and slide until end of shaft is visible half way across hole (F).

5. Tighten clamps (G).
